Peer Review Policy
Peer Review Process
DUJMS adopts a rigorous double-blind peer-review process to ensure the quality and validity of published research.
1. Initial Screening: All submissions are first checked by the Editorial Office for scope, formatting, and plagiarism (using anti-plagiarism software).
2. Reviewers: Manuscripts passing the initial screen are assigned to at least two independent expert reviewers.
3. Decision: The reviewers provide recommendations (Accept, Minor Revisions, Major Revisions, or Reject). The final decision rests with the Editor-in-Chief.
4. Timeline: The average time from submission to first decision is 4-6 weeks.
